James is currently open to offers of a DJ residency or one off events at bars, nightclubs & music festivals worldwide. He is currently working to finish an album for general release around March 2014. New EPs should also be expected later in 2013.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Europe, James has around a total of 15 years of DJ experience, 10 years Internationally. He’s started out holding many DJ residencies in London, UK and performed at London venues such as The End, Mass, Fabric, The Arches among many others. International performances have seen him travel to: Ibiza, Portugal, Spain, India, Dubai, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam & Egypt.
For the past 3 or 4 years, James has been living in Thailand and performing at various events at cities and beach resorts around Asia. A fair part of this time has been as a resident DJ for the prestigious luxury hotel; Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok, Thailand. The two Bars at Lebua; Distil & Sky Bar offer spectacular panoramic views of the city of Bangkok 64 floors above the city skyline:
Over recent years James has also held many Lounge Bar DJ Residencies at 5 star luxury resorts around the world for international hotel brands such as One & Only, Savoy, Hilton, Taj & Intercontinental among others. His expertise has helped launch many brand new nightclubs and lounge bars around the globe.
Sponsored corporate events have also included: BMW, Mini, Vodafone, Emirates Airlines, Design Week, Chivas Regal, Moet, Bacardi, Credit Suisse, among many others. Below: Mini United Festival:
His many appearances and DJ residencies have seen him perform live alongside established artists such as Paul Weller (The Jam / The Style Council), Calvin Harris (EMI / Sony), Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1 / Sunday Best / Bestival) DJ Ravin, (Buddha Bar Paris), Andy Weatherall (Primal Scream / Happy Mondays) Meat Katie (Fabric / Bedrock Breaks) David Holmes (Oceans 11, 12 & 13 Film Soundtracks) Mix Master Morris (The Big Chill / Nubient), Howie B (Fabric / Snatch Film Soundtrack), Coldcut (Ninja Tune / Solid Steel / Radio 1).
Before he moved to London, James spent the majority of his childhood and college years in Cornwall in the south of England where he was first introduced to the rave scene in the 90s, He would ‘chase raves’ in the South West of England to see DJs & Artists such as Tom Middleton, Mark Pritchard & Aphex Twin perform among others, artists who still influence his music today.
