Mixed in Ableton Live using 4 channels of Audio, this was a very complex and time consuming mix, even though it may sound simple to the ear. Contains many sounds from across asia and Indonesia.

Singapore: Progressive Breakbeat & House 

Recorded in Singapore, Asia, for a Fashion Show Party in a strange spruced up warehouse / bar lounge / club / restaurant complex. I originally recorded the set live and then mastered it in Ableton with some extra effects and sample edits from the classic sci-fi film Bladerunner. I ended up using 5 channels of Audio in the end mix, it ended up getting extremely complex and time consuming!

So following on from all the effort that went into the mix, I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did making it :o) I wanted the DJ mix to sum up my time traveling through and staying in Singapore – a very clean futuristic place, kind of like Hong Kong or Tokyo in Asia for it’s style. The film Bladrunner sums up the mood perfectly I think. One of my favorite films of all time!
